NZIC's Leadership Development Program takes the 'coach approach' to leadership and is tailored to the needs of leaders, managers and executives within organisations.
The 'coach approach' builds on the essential communication skills of deep listening, asking powerful questions, being fully present, and empowering others to succeed.
This approach raises individual and team awareness, connects people and increases collaboration, develops self-reliance and resourcefulness, increases creativity and innovation, and strengthens employee engagement.
Delivery of the program is through a combination of:
- Three to six on-line learning modules
- Fieldwork for implementing learning
- Reflective practice to embed learning
- Fortnightly on-line individual coaching sessions to support individuals
