About Coaching with Anna

I work with growth-focused people who wish to live and lead with intention, who have a desire to build authentic connections, and who are open to developing their own self-awareness to become skilful at bringing out the best in themselves and others.

My coaching style is holistic; I take the whole person into account and recognise the connection between multiple domains of life and work. My values include honesty, compassion, authenticity and realism, all of which I bring to my coaching relationships.

Drawing on neuroscience and mindfulness to cultivate calm and clarity, personal insight and confidence, I support you to uncover the answers and solutions to your challenges, and work with you to build your capacity to trust yourself and your decisions to create the life and work that you want.

I have over 18 years’ experience within corporate, education, private and non-profit sectors, with a focus on consulting, mentoring and coaching, along with current and relevant formal coaching qualifications and credentials.

Why Coaching?

Individuals in all areas of life are recognising the importance of having a personal and/or professional coach. With emphasis on innovation, creativity and sustainability within our current social and economic environments, the role of the coach is to empower and support individuals to contribute in the most effective way, while gaining a sense of fulfilment in what they do.

Most people choose to work with a coach because they want something different; a change that will improve their life. When we engage with another person who has our best interests at heart, who sees us as resourceful and capable, and who provides non-judgemental support, we are empowered to achieve our goals and aspirations. 

Having someone in our corner prompting us to reflect on what we are thinking and saying, how we are being, and what we are doing, creates awareness. Awareness is the key to shifts in thinking and behaving.

‘Lightbulb moments’ or insights come from finding our own answers and thinking about our issues from a different perspective. The coach’s role is to provoke thought. We do this by listening deeply, asking skilful questions, being fully present, and reflecting and clarifying what is said, amongst other important coaching skills and approaches.

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximise your personal and professional potential. 

The focus of coaching is to support you to move from where you are now to where you want to be. We work from the present, acknowledging the past and the impact this has on the current situation, and moving forward to the ideal way of being or ideal life situation.

Coaching has a significant impact on perspective, attitude and outlook. It improves self-leadership skills (the essence of all success) and unlocks personal and professional potential. 

Coaching provides a supportive environment for you to find your own answers and solutions, and upholds and encourages you in your efforts to achieve your aspirations and dreams; your successes in your own way.

How coaching with Anna works

I offer a 30-minute complimentary introductory session where we start to get to know each other, identify your goals and aspirations, determine our suitability as client and coach, and decide on how we want to work together.

Once we have decided to work together our coaching engagement is a minimum of 6 coaching sessions over 3 months. This is generally on a fortnightly basis. In addition to our coaching sessions you have unlimited email access to me along with recommended readings, resources, exercises and reflective practices for the duration of our engagement.
